There’s a new insider tip for wine enthusiasts who enjoy travelling: a shop located in Valencia’s bustling Calle Colón pedestrian zone combines excellent wines with outstanding design.
Customers stepping through the door of the Vegamar Wine Shop are immediately fascinated by the futuristic design and the sophisticated lighting. The planners have managed to turn each bottle of wine into a work of art and give visitors the feeling that they are experiencing something really special. Wine tasting takes place in the rear part of the store. Designer furniture with indirect lighting and mirrors on the ceiling combine to create an extraordinary flair and make the featured wines the centre of attention.
Architects choose HARO laminate flooring
The architectural studio Fran Silvestre was tasked with the planning and implementation. Black lacquered surfaces contrast with the illuminated ceiling and the indirectly-lit shelves. When selecting the floor covering, the architects opted for Tritty laminate flooring from HARO. The light grey oak plank flooring is the crowning touch for the wine shop and lends an incredibly intensive aura to the room. Additional use of Silent Pro insulation underlay minimises footfall and room sound in an optimum fashion. This was part of the architects’ overall concept: allowing customers to focus completely on the presented wines without being disturbed by loud footsteps.
