In 2020, the city decided to add new rooms and a roof terrace to the day-care centre
Arche Noah (Noah’s Arch) and to create 20 extra slots for children. An extra story
was added to the single-story building through the use of a timber framework. The
base structure of the old building was maintained so that the new group of rooms is
positioned around two large atriums. The large staircase elegantly connects the
floors and creates an open atmosphere in the process.
Healthy living floors are an absolute must for child-care facilities. For this reason,
the Bad Kötztinger Building Authority selected the DISANO design floor by HARO
for use in the day-care centre. This design floor comes in the generous format of
plank 1-Strip. It is elastic, warm underfoot and really tough. It lends a friendly and
natural look to floors. This healthy living design floor is also suitable for installation
in wet areas and is easy to maintain. The professional laying of the 450 square metres
of floor space was done by the floor-laying company Markgraf of Neutraubling.
